Beginnings

In 2016 I set out to write a book about death. It evolved from a simple factual work of non-fiction to something that I believed actually NEEDED to be written. People were asking for it. I decided to write something that people could find enjoyable and useful at the same time.

Writing also helped me get through some dark days while I was caring for my mother who was ill with leukemia.

I've taken this book seriously, often waking up at 5:30 am before work to write, then writing some more upon arriving home. Along the way, I've interviewed some amazing people and had a few adventures getting to them. My husband became involved with the book, lending additional expertise to the subject matter. I am so excited to share this book with everyone, and cannot wait to find an editor who will help me make it even better!
